An inspiring General Assembly in Groningen

Two inspiring days in Groningen for the SPARKLES General Assembly!

Hosted by Hanze University of Applied Sciences, in April the consortium came together once again to exchange insights, share (research) progress, and explore the next steps in exploring responsible upscaling of Floating Photovoltaics: from grid congestion and digital twins to biodiversity and stakeholder engagement!

Now in year 3 of our 6-year journey, it was inspiring to see how far we've come: from overcoming early challenges, to publishing first results and deepening collaboration across disciplines. 

Beyond the presentations and workshops, the GA was also a great reminder of the value of collaboration, curiosity, and simply taking the time to learn from one another. A big thank you to our hosts at HUAS and to all partners for their energy and contribution. Looking forward to the next one already!
